Why Help is Needed
Typical unemployment on the reservations and the native population concentration ranges from 75% to 90%. Isolated areas, removed from employment opportunities, are the typical location of lands designated by the U.S. government for the Native peoples. The Church must address this wrong. Less than 5% of Native America has accepted the hope of the Gospel, Jesus as Lord and Savior.
